currency manipulation in Washington DC last Friday.  The message was very
clear: What China is doing is protectionism and the U.S. needs to enforce
its rules. One of the forum's panelists, Fred Bergsten, said that responding
to China's protectionism is not protectionist.  It's simply a matter of
correcting global imbalances.
