Arthur,
From Chicago to Honolulu to Melbourne —and all the other venues in
between — you’ve been there, aware of the closed-door, corporate-
infested negotiations on the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) “free
trade” agreement.
But the rest of the country is still in the dark, and what they don’t
know will hurt them.
Expose this dangerous corporate power tool: Enter our TPP picture
contest.
TPP talks resume early next month in Dallas, Texas. Once again,
negotiations will take place with the public locked out and the texts
held in tight secrecy. On the table is a veritable smorgasbord of
extreme new corporate rights to slam the 99%.*
We need to expose the TPP backdoor corporate attacks on our most basic
needs and rights, and build momentum from every corner of the country
to stop this assault.
Join the picture contest and invite others to find out about TPP.
Take a picture of yourself with a print-out of our new TPP flyer (What
you don’t know will your hurt you) in front of any spot in your
hometown or wherever your travels may take you.
The most creative pictures will make it into our TPP video exposé.
Send, post or tweet your picture with our enticingly cryptic TPP
message before the Dallas round begins on May 8.
Once you’ve taken the picture with our TPP message, spread the word by
posting the flyer where anyone can see it. And if you're ready to pass
out these flyers, let us know.
Let’s make this TPP round the finale.
Thanks for all you do,
Beatriz and Brooke
