USTR extends public comment period on NAFTA objectives

The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative is extending the public comment period for its NAFTA negotiating objectives.
In a statement issued on Tuesday afternoon, USTR cited “high interest” in the subject, along with a desire to “ensure all interested participants have the opportunity to comment” on its negotiating objectives.
The comment period closed on June 12; the statement on Tuesday says it will be extended until June 14 at midnight.
More than 12,000 comments <https://www.regulations.gov/docket?D=USTR-2017-0006> were listed as received on Tuesday.
