HOUSE LAWMAKERS RETURN FROM MEXICO WANTING MORE <http://go.politicoemail.com/?qs=35f2bdfd190bd2e01c30b3201071ac07ba666f24295541f9780075c3dc9397994b0e4ce56efe6045d15fff35ee89a2be>: House Ways and Means Chairman Richard Neal <http://go.politicoemail.com/?qs=35f2bdfd190bd2e05ddc7f313d1ef5e7101fd41545b5035b115ca45d05c7bfcc8172e94f4098846ed6c7535925578b3f> (D-Mass.) says he still wants to see Mexico fully implement promised changes to its labor laws after a visit there this week with a group of U.S. lawmakers.

"Our meeting with President [Andrés Manuel] López Obrador shed further light on the Mexican government's desire and intentions to carry out its labor justice reform, but the United States needs to see those assurances put into action," Neal said in a statement after meetings with AMLO and other high-ranking government officials. 

López Obrador appeared to brush off such concerns on Tuesday, telling reporters in Mexico City that "of course we will comply with enforcing this law," according to Reuters <http://go.politicoemail.com/?qs=d15b4cca5d431aabc5b6ca8fef7d060f819707418761017615fba2deb1bdcf3fe190d4b7bf9356b21ae415f4f171b983>.
