[CTC] New Ady Barkan video calls out Germany on #TRIPSWaiver

Our partners at Be A Hero just released a new video on Germany's opposition to the TRIPS waiver. Germany, that now has the whole EU blocked the waiver, is the last obstacle to eliminating the WTO’s IP monopolies for Pharma so enough vaccines and treatments can be made to save lives and stop the pandemic.

As you may know Chancellor Angela Merkel is coming to DC for a 7/15 summit. This is THE moment when we need Pres. Biden to step up and deliver the waiver he supports – by making the waiver a top item at the summit and getting Merkel to end her opposition. Billions of lives could be saved, if the EU would drop opposition and Germany is the last roadblock. 

President Biden has committed to saving lives across the world, but Merkel stands as a roadblock - he MUST push her to drop opposition.

Father Charlie is the director of the Jesuits for Africa and shares with Ady the harrowing situation across Africa because of the dire lack of vaccines.
