statutory mandate is to develop recommendations relating to a standard set of
practices for independent, third-party monitoring and verification for the
production, processing, and distribution of agricultural products or
commodities to reduce the likelihood that agricultural products or commodities
imported into the <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">United
States</st1:country-region></st1:place> are produced with the use of forced
labor or child labor. The Consultative Group is holding this public meeting to
solicit public input toward these recommendations.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
