<html><body style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; -webkit-line-break: after-white-space; ">Dear Friends:<div><br></div><div><b>Thank you</b> if your group was among the over 400 organizations, representing more than 15 million Americans, that co-signed the letter to Congress expressing deep concerns about the proposed Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and opposition to the outdated "Fast Track" trade negotiating and approval process.</div><div><br></div><div>The joint letter was submitted to Congress today, and it couldn't have been more timely. The letter comes just one business day after the President included Fast Track in his 2013 Trade Policy Agenda, and the same day as negotiators from 11 countries throughout the Pacific Rim met in Singapore for a new round of talks aimed at pushing the TPP towards conclusion. A copy of the letter is attached, and can also be found <a href="http://www.citizenstrade.org/ctc/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/CivilSocietyLetteronFastTrackandTPP_030413.pdf">online here</a>. </div><div><br></div><div>I've been inspired by the "movement of movements" represented in this document — with labor, environmental, family farm, Native American, human rights, public health, consumer, animal rights, Occupy, student, peace and other groups standing shoulder-to-shoulder on an issue that impacts us all.
