Non-Traditional Export Promotion Law violates international
standards on the rights of workers to organize. Under the law,
employers can continue hiring workers on short-term, temporary
contracts — some as short as 15 days — which creates an
environment where employees are reluctant to organize labor unions
or demand certain rights, the unions allege.</p>
