TPP will be put to a vote and, if it does come to a vote, to decrease the chances that it will pass.

</span></p><p class=""><span style="font-size: 11.000000pt; font-family: 'Calibri'" class="">The fellow will split their time between two primary areas of work. First, the fellow will recruit,
develop, and manage volunteers from youth climate activist networks and college campuses in five to
eight Congressional districts. The second area of work will be mobilizing these volunteers through
actions designed to garner media attention on the continued injustice, controversy, and opposition to
TPP. Examples of such actions include: birdogging Members of Congress indistrict at campaign
events, organizing around proTPP events like the Administration’s TPP Roundtable tour when in
those districts, and organizing two postelection demonstrations preempting a possible lame duck
session vote on TPP. These roles would also involve reaching out to local and national media and
coordinating with other environmental organizations and trade movement actors. This position would
be managed by the SustainUS Advocacy Fellowship Coordinator.
